BETTING ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
Customers of online sportsbooks are not required to register or fund their accounts in person

TAX RATE
10% on retail sports betting revenue
15% on online/mobile sports betting revenue

TAX REVENUE ALLOCATION
Tax revenue must first be applied to the Bond Security and Redemption Fund to pay state bond liabilities, then they are allocated as follows:
– 25% (not to exceed $20 million) to the Early Childhood Education Fund
– 10% by proportionate distribution to each parish where the taxable conduct occurred
– 2.5% to the Sports Wagering Purse Supplemental Fund
– 2% or $500,000, whichever is greater, to the Behavioral Health and Wellness Fund
– 2%, up to $500,000, to the Disability Affairs Trust Fund
– Remaining money to the general fund

LICENSE FEES
Operators: $750,000 initial application and license fee, $500,000 renewal fee every 5 years
Platform providers: $350,000 initial application and license fee, $250,000 renewal fee every 5 years
