Xpoint secures former PayPal director as chief revenue officer
Geolocation and compliance firm adds Ron Braunfeld to executive team, with core remit of driving revenue generation efforts
Xpoint has named former PayPal director Ron Braunfeld as its new chief revenue officer as the geolocation and compliance tech supplier looks to further establish itself in the North American market.
Braunfeld moves to Xpoint from Mobi Systems, where he spent 18 months as VP of business development, having joined the company in November 2022.
Prior to that, Braunfeld served as general manager of Philadelphia for pharmaceutical technology company Capsule between January 2021 and August 2022.
At the start of his career in 2002, Braunfeld spent four years as director of business development for online mapping website MapQuest before moving to WHERE, the location media-based ad company that was sold to PayPal in April 2011.
Upon starting his PayPal career that month, he was named director of business development and stayed with the company until August 2013 when he became president of SnipSnap.
At Xpoint, Braunfeld will be tasked with enhancing relationships with clients and identifying new business opportunities, as well as leading efforts to generate revenue.
