WynnBET becomes official sports betting partner of New York Jets
Multi-year agreement includes branded lounge and tie-ins with team media assets
WynnBET and the New York Jets announced a multi-year agreement on September 14, naming the online operator as an official sports betting partner of the NFL franchise.
As part of the deal, WynnBET gains entitlement to a sports betting lounge at MetLife Stadium for all Jets home games, in addition to branded tie-ins with an array of the team’s prime media assets.
The WynnBET Green Room, a 4,800 sq ft luxury club space, will mimic a retail sportsbook, with odds screens and in-play betting content to enhance the game-viewing experience.
Ticketed fans aged 21 and over will have access to an all-inclusive food and beverage menu and they’ll be able to use their WynnBET app to place wagers before and throughout the game.
WynnBET also becomes the presenting partner of the Jets Pre Game Live and Jets Post Game Live shows on SportsNet New York, as well as the Jets Podcast Network.
Among the shows that will feature WynnBET’s sponsorship across the team’s flagship podcast network are Jets Game Preview, hosted by team reporter Ethan Greenberg and NFL insider Cynthia Frelund; and The Official Jets Podcast, featuring team reporter Eric Allen and Jets legend Leger Douzable.
The Jets partnership represents a significant step forward for WynnBET, which is trying to establish a firmer foothold in New Jersey, the biggest sports betting market in the US.
The operator has struck similar deals in other key markets such as Michigan, where it announced a partnership with the Detroit Lions in July.
Currently operational in seven states, WynnBET is also working to build its presence at a national scale, evidenced by a brand-ambassador deal it struck with Shaquille O’Neal in early August.
