WagerWire to allow pick’ems to be bought and sold in new update
Players now have the opportunity to buy and sell daily fantasy Pick’em entries on the WagerWire app

WagerWire has announced the integration of a buying and selling feature into its app, giving players the chance to legally buy and sell daily fantasy pick’em entries in real time.
The move makes WagerWire the first marketplace platform which gives players the chance to sell their fantasy picks on the open market or to friends.
Prior to introducing the new technology, WagerWire’s platform allowed players to buy and sell placed bets through its partner sportsbook apps.
The firm first partnered with the creators of the trading technology – RealTime Fantasy Sports – in January 2024.
RealTime’s platform allows users to sell their lineups while in progress, or during an actual game.
WagerWire Co-Founder and CEO Zach Doctor said: “This is a paradigm shifting moment for fantasy.
“This launch represents a way to bring more ownership and control over their entries. For the first time, there is a way to cash in on your lineups even if they go on to lose – by selling it to a friend or on the open market. The excitement is palpable.”
Since launching, WagerWire has become a media partner for major US sportsbooks such as BetMGM, BetRivers, Caesars, FanDuel.
Earlier this year, the Los Angeles-based firm shared its hopes for a secondary market in the state of Nevada.
This came in response to the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) rejecting a proposal from betting trading platform PropSwap suggesting that operators allow players to trade sports bets through the mail.
