VSiN bolsters its management team with industry veteran Len Mead
DraftKings-owned firm hires Mead as new general manager

The Sports Betting Network (VSiN) has expanded its team with the appointment of sports media veteran Len Mead.
Mead will head up all areas of VSiN’s operation and look to grow the firm’s audience as well as focus on potential areas of innovation.
He will also oversee the company’s dedicated website, app, and podcast alongside the newsroom studios located in several sportsbooks at Vegas hotels and casinos.
VSiN’s distribution network includes fuboTV, Comcast, Xfinity, iHeartRadio, Sling TV, and several radio stations across the US.
Mead brings over 27 years of experience to this new role. He joins VSiN after spending a year with PointsBet as VP of content, where he was in charge of the sportsbook’s integrations with NBC Sports, Action Network, and several regional sports networks.
His career has also included roles with the XFL, NBC Sport Regional Networks, as well as cable channels NESN and ESPN.
Brian Musburger, founder and CEO of VSiN, said: “Len has excelled at creating original content and growing audience across all platforms throughout his career, and we’re thrilled to add his expertise to our leadership team.
“Not only does Len bring a wealth of media experience from his prior roles at ESPN, NBC Sports, NESN, and others, but he also brings sports betting industry knowledge from his time as head of content for PointsBet.”
Mead remarked: “This is such an exciting time to join VSiN. Brian Musburger and his team have built something special and established VSiN as a leader in credible, intelligent betting content.
“I’m looking forward to expanding our audience and serving bettors of all levels everywhere as they connect with sports.”
