Underdog Fantasy hires ex-FanDuel exec as responsible gaming consultant
Fantasy operator appoints Adam Warrington to strengthen responsible gaming programme

Underdog Fantasy has hired former FanDuel exec Adam Warrington as a consultant to help improve and enhance its responsible gaming output.
Warrington previously served as FanDuel’s vice-president of responsible gambling between September 2021 and April 2023.
During his time with the Flutter Entertainment-owned operator, Warrington bult out a 15-person responsible gambling team and developed talent for the firm’s responsible gambling ambassador programme.
Outside of the industry, he previously worked in communications for three separate companies, Pacific Republic Mortgage from September 2001 to June 2002, ArcelorMittal from October 2006 to May 2010 and Anheuser-Busch from October 2013 to June 2018.
In July 2018, Warrington moved from head of communications at Anheuser-Busch to vice-president of corporate social responsibility.
He held that role for just over two-and-a-half years before moving to Praytell as chief reputation officer, a position he held for eight months.
In his new role at Underdog, Warrington will assist and further enhance the firm’s responsible gaming programme in order to provide players with the “safest gaming platform on the market”.
He will also play a key role in strategic planning and execution on communications around responsible gambling.
Jeremy Levine, Underdog founder and co-CEO, said that Warrington’s experience will be “invaluable” to the company as it seeks to be at the forefront of responsible gaming in the industry.
Levine said: “At Underdog, making sure our players enjoy our games responsibly is paramount. That’s why we’re thrilled to work with Adam, whose expertise, experience, and standing will be invaluable to our efforts to continue to innovate and lead the industry by example when it comes to responsible gaming.”
Warrington added: “I’m incredibly excited to partner with Underdog to identify and execute opportunities to drive innovation and measurable outcomes in responsible gaming.
“Daily fantasy and online sports gaming are a fast-moving and dynamic space. It’s critical the pace of innovation and advancement in responsible gaming keep up. I truly admire Underdog’s commitment to this important topic, and I’m pleased to be working with the team to further their mission,” he concluded.
