Tipico inks multi-state market-access deal with Caesars
Ten-year deal includes immediate access to Indiana and Iowa markets

Tipico has agreed a 10-year multi-state market-access deal with Caesars Entertainment.
The agreement, which is renewable in nature, provides for an immediate Tipico online sportsbook launch in Indiana and Iowa, pending state licensing approvals.
In Indiana, Tipico will partner with Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino while in Iowa the sportsbook will partner with Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf.
The deal also includes certain rights to igaming market access, pending legislative approval for online casino operations in each state.
Tipico US CEO Adrian Vella hailed the new agreement as an important step in the firm’s expansion of its US footprint.
“We look forward to establishing our brand presence in the mid-west, and introducing our highly scalable, proprietary multi-state sports betting experience to players in Indiana and Iowa,” Vella added.
Tipico is currently live in Colorado and New Jersey, and recently announced its commitment to opening a new technology hub in Denver, Colorado in a move expected to create 441 new jobs in the region.
The new hub will host a variety of technology roles in areas like software development, cloud infrastructure, native and mobile app development, product management, and data engineering.
Operations, marketing, finance, and customer service positions will also be up for grabs, while the roles are expected to generate an average annual salary of $96,315.
German sports betting giant Tipico currently owns a 42-person office in Hoboken, New Jersey. The company decided to build its new tech hub in Colorado, ahead of competing states North Carolina, Georgia, and Texas.
