TheScore to add online casino to its NJ offering
Operator partners with Twin River to gain igaming license in the Garden State

TheScore has partnered with Twin River in New Jersey for a igaming license that will complement its mobile betting product.
The casino will likely launch during the second half of next year as long as Twin River’s purchase of Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel & Casino is completed.
The 10-year deal includes an extension of five years with a further five-year renewal term if both parties agree to it.
TheScore CEO John Levy said: “The addition of an online casino offering to our award-winning and truly differentiated mobile sports betting platform broadens our reach and deepens our strong portfolio of assets.
“This is yet another step towards providing theScore’s media and betting patrons with a completely holistic and tightly integrated media and gaming experience,” he added.
Twin River will receive a share of the operator’s online gaming revenue in the state.
Eilers and Krejcik Gaming estimates theScore has a sports betting market share of around 0.23% in New Jersey, just above 888sport’s 0.17%.
Competing operator PointsBet recently announced it would also add an igaming product to its offering in New Jersey to complement its sportsbook.
TheScore entered Colorado this month with its betting app.
