
Sportradar seals Pearl River Resort partnership
Data giant to provide Mississippi-based casino resort with risk management and in-play betting services


Sportradar has secured a sports betting partnership with Pearl River Resort under which the data giant will provide the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians-owned sportsbook with access to its managed trading services (MTS).
As part of Sportradar’s MTS, Pearl River will be able to access trading, risk management and pre and in-play betting services.
The partnership follows the news that sports betting handle in the The Magnolia State was up 411.4% in August from the previous month.
Sports betting handle came in at $40.5m, which is more than double August 2019’s total of $19.9m.
August marked the second subsequent month that the state’s handle rose by over 400%.
Neale Deeley, Sportradar VP of US sales and gaming, said: “Sportradar is delighted to partner with Pearl River Resort as it continues to expand its offering.
“Pearl River is in a fantastic position for growth, and we are confident that our partnership will be a critical part of their evolution and will benefit their customers,” he added.
Chris Hopwood, Pearl River sportsbook director, commented: “Our goal is to deliver the best possible sports betting experience for our guests. This partnership will allow us to be competitive with the biggest names in the sportsbook industry.”
Neal Atkinson, Pearl River gaming director, added: “Partnering with Sportradar is the natural progression for the evolution of our successful sportsbook. It will allow us to enhance our service offerings as we have been a resource and are beginning to collaborate with other tribes looking to replicate what we have accomplished.”
Pearl River Resort was the first tribal-owned sportsbook to go live in the US market post-PASPA.
