
Slots Tracker: Two new titles lead US and Canadian rankings
IGT takes gold, silver, and bronze in the US during May, while new entry Immortal Romance 2 from Stormcraft Studios grabs top spot in Canada

May has seen new titles sit atop the US and Canada slot rankings, with IGT taking gold, silver, and bronze in the US.
Cleopatra, last month’s third-ranked game, now sits at the top of the pile, with Fortune Coin still in second and Cash Eruption in third after being fourth last month.
White Hat Gaming’s Almighty Buffalo Megaways dropped from first to fourth in May, with IGT’s Cash Machine rounding out the top five after being positioned 13th in April.
The other big mover inside the top 10 was Shuffle Master’s 88 Fortunes, with the game jumping 11 spots to sit in sixth place in May.
Only one title dropped out the top 10 altogether, AGS’ Capital Gains, which fell from eighth to 14th place while two games entered the top 20.
Slingo Originals’ Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania Slingo ranked 27th in April but nabbed the 20th spot in May, while Red Tiger’s Blood Suckers Megaways had the biggest jump after being ranked 197th in the last rankings to 16th in the current standings iteration? – moving 181 spots in the process.
Only two titles dropped out of the top 20 from April to May, Shuffle Master’s 88 Fortunes Megaways and AGS’ Mega Diamond, having placed 16th and 20th, respectively, in April.
EGR’s data partner eGaming Monitor (EGM) examined slots across seven states – New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Delaware, West Virginia, Connecticut, and Rhode Island – while 2,781 games were scrutinized from 145 studios and 45 sites.
Meanwhile, in Canada, a new entry in the rankings took top spot in May as Stormcraft Studios’ Immortal Romance 2 sprung a major surprise.
Both Pragmatic Play’s Sweet Bonanza and Gameburger Studios’ 9 Masks of Fire dropped one spot having been first and second, respectively, last month, while IGT’s Cleopatra remained in fifth.
Fourth place went to Pragmatic Play’s Gates of Olympus, which was sixth in April, while there were other big movers in the top 10.
Fortune Factory Studios’ Gold Blitz Extreme jumped 14 spots from 21st to seventh, Wishbone Games’ Kingfisher moved 119 spots from 127th to eighth, and Northern Lights Gaming’s Unusual Catch was another new entry in ninth spot.
Elsewhere, another three games broke into the top 20 for the first time, including one brand-new entrant.
New entry Sparkling Joker X Up of Games Global arrived at 15th position, while Neon Valley Studios’ Genies Arabian Riches moved 154 spots, from 167th to 13th.
The biggest mover was PearFiction Studios’ Cerberus Gold, which ranked 391st in April and is now 17th.
Nine titles dropped out of the top 20 entirely in May having been ranked in April, with Microgaming’s Immortal Romance (seventh), being the highest placed game to fall out of the list.
IGT’s Cash Eruption just held on to a top 20 place, having fallen from fourth in April to 19th in May.
EGM looked at performances across five Canadian provinces: Ontario, Western Canada, Quebec, New Brunswick, and British Columbia.
A total of 2,974 games were analyzed from 191 studios and 66 sites.
