
Slots Tracker: IGT and Pragmatic Play end 2024 at the top of the US and Canadian rankings
IGT leads the US pack heading into 2025 after two months chasing White Hat Gaming, while Pragmatic Play claims nine of the top 10 games in Canada

IGT’s Cash Eruption has leapfrogged White Hat Gaming’s Almighty Buffalo Megaways to reclaim first place in the EGR Slots Tracker’s US rankings.
Having last sat on top of the pile in September, IGT ended 2024 as the US leader after it was able to usurp White Hat Gaming’s title.
Shuffle Master’s 88 Fortunes took third, moving up from ninth place, with IGT’s Cleopatra remaining in fourth. White Hat Gaming’s Saint Nicked 2 entered the top 20 for the first time in fifth place.
The biggest mover in December was another Christmas-themed title as High 5 Games’ A Visit from St Nick soared 779 places from 791st to 12th.
Another Christmas-themed game, White Hat Gaming’s Saint Nicked Jackpot Royale, climbed 295 places to finish 16th in December’s rankings.
Alongside the big movers, four new entries earned a place in the top 20, with Saint Nicked 2 being the highest-ranked title last month.
Red Tiger’s Dear Santa (17th), NetEnt’s Santa vs Rudolf (18th), and Light & Wonder’s A Hot Hot Blazing Christmas (20th) completed the quartet of debutants.
Six games lost their spots in the latest rankings, including High 5 Games’ Billionaire’s Bank the highest-placed title from November (seventh) to fall out of the top 20.
EGR North America’s data partner eGaming Monitor (EGM) examined games across seven states: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Delaware, West Virginia, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
A total of 4,428 games from 251 studios placed across 70 sites were scrutinized in this month’s rankings.
Canada
Pragmatic Play ended 2024 with 13 titles in the top 20, taking nine of the top 10 games in December in a stunning showing from the studio.
Buffalo King Megaways held on to top spot north of the border, with Sweet Bonanza and Gates of Olympus rounding out the top three after moving up from seventh and fourth places, respectively.
The studio’s Gates of Olympus 1,000 slipped from second to fourth, Big Bass Bonanza remained in fifth, Big Bass Splash dropped from third to sixth, and Sugar Rush jumped three places to seventh.
Sweet Bonanza was unmoved in eighth place while Wolf Gold leapt from 15th to ninth to dominate the top half of the rankings.
Pragmatic Play’s other titles in the top 20 were Sugar Rush 1,000 (12th), two new entries in Gates of Olympus X-Mas 1,000 (14th) and Santa’s Xmas Rush (17th), and 5 Lions Megaways (20th).
Just For The Win’s Stellar Jewels Power Combo was the biggest mover, rising from 319th to 10th place, while Gameburger Studios’ 9 Masks of Fire saw the biggest drop from sixth to 11th.
Fortune Factory Studios’ Gold Blitz Ultimate was the only other new entry (19th), with the December rankings also seeing five titles drop out completely.
Those were Foxium’s Boom Pirates Fight For Gold (ninth), Hacksaw Gaming’s Wanted Dead or a Wild (11th), Games Global’s Zeus Lightning Riches Power Combo (16th), SpinPlay Games’ Amazing Link Zeus (17th), and Pragmatic Play’s John Hunter and the Tomb of the Scarab Queen (20th).
EGM looked at performances across five Canadian provinces: Ontario, Western Canada, Quebec, New Brunswick, and British Columbia.
A total of 4,914 titles were examined across 226 studios and 66 sites last month.
