Slots Tracker: February marks three months of statis atop the rankings

White Hat Gaming’s Almighty Buffalo Megaways continued 2024 at the top of the charts in the US online slot rankings, with 9 Masks of Fire from GameBurger Studios also retaining top spot in Canada.

In the US, IGT saw two of its games, Cash Eruption and Fortune Coin, switch places, with the former replacing the latter in second place.

NetEnt’s Divine Fortune and ReelPlay’s Hypernova Megaways held onto their fourth and fifth spots, respectively, from January.

The biggest mover in the top 20 saw AGS’ Platinum 8x 8x 8x jump 101 spots, from 121st to 20^th place, while Lightning Box’s Lightning Shenlong which was ranked 42^nd in January found itself 17^th in February.

The biggest drop saw Light & Wonder’s Ultimate Fire Link Cash Falls China Street slip from sixth to 15^th place, with Big Time Gaming’s Bonanza falling out of the top 10 into 13^th having been ranked ninth in January.

There was only one new entry into the top 20 February, with Light & Wonder’s Zodiac Lantern Tiger coming in at 18^th.

Five titles dropped out of the rankings entirely in the shape of IGT’s Wheel of Fortune Triple Extreme Spin, Big Time Gaming’s Extra Chilli, DGC’s Blazing Bison Gold Blitz, Light & Wonder’s Rich Little Piggies Meal Ticket, and Lightning Box’s Money Link The Great Immortals.

Six US states were covered by EGR’s data partner EGM including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Delaware, West Virginia, and Connecticut, while 2,808 games were scrutinized across 146 studios and 51 sites.

Meanwhile, in the Canadian rankings, behind the dominant 9 Masks of Fire, Pragmatic Play took the next three spots.

Sweet Bonanza moved up to second place, Big Bass Bonanza jumped two spots to third, and Gates of Olympus stayed in fourth.

Fortune Factory Studios’ Gold Blitz Extreme dropped three places to fifth.

The biggest jump in February was Microgaming’s Wacky Panda, which leapt 440 spots to land at 17th, while Immortal Romance from the same studio moved up 21 places into 10^th.

GameBurger Studios’ Mining Pots of Gold tumbled eight places from 12^th to 20th – the biggest fall of the month for those still in the top 20.

Alchemy Gaming’s Chronicles of Olympus II Zeus, Stormcraft Studios’ Thunderstruck Stormchaser, and Pragmatic Play’s Sugar Rush all fell out of the Canada casino rankings.

EGM covered five provinces in Canada: Ontario, Western Canada, Quebec, New Brunswick, and British Colombia.

A total of 2,865 games were analyzed across 176 studios and 67 sites.
