Sky Racing World strikes New York supply deal
Tabcorp subsidiary will supply the New York Racing Association with live streaming on thousands of horse races from Australia, South Africa and New Zealand
Sky Racing World has struck a deal to provide the New York Racing Association (NYRA) with live video streaming on all horse races taking place in Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
Sky Racing World, a subsidiary of Australian betting operator Tabcorp, said the video stream would be available on the Associationâs NYRA Rewards online wagering site.
The agreement will allow NYRAâs customers to wager online on over 8,000 races taking place in Australia each year, 3,500 in South Africa and 2,400 in New Zealand.
The launch comes ahead of Australiaâs premier horse racing event, the Emirates Melbourne Cup, which takes place on 2 November.
Sky Racing CEO David Haslett (pictured) said he was âdelightedâ to partner with a US horseracing operator of the calibre of the New York Racing Association.
âTheir NYRA Rewards brand is one of the major ADW sites in the country, and now their players can wager on the Melbourne Cup and thousands of other Australasian and South African races, providing them access to some of the best international thoroughbred racing,â he added.
Kentucky-based Sky Racing World provides live streaming to more than 70 US-facing ADW brands as well as 425 retail outlets in the US, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
