Simplebet promotes from within for new chief product officer
Andre Bessette moves into C-suite role with B2B supplier, with a core focus on driving product innovation across live betting experiences
Simplebet has promoted Andre Bessette to become the firm’s chief product officer (CPO) after five years with the supplier.
In his new role, he will be responsible for driving product innovation in live betting experiences, maintaining operational excellence, and advancing partnerships with sports leagues such as LIV Golf.
Bessette joined the micro-betting supplier as director of product in September 2019, before being made VP of product in January 2022.
He moved to the B2B supplier after a two-year stint with DraftKings as the operator’s analytics manager between March 2014 and June 2016.
Before joining DraftKings, Bessette was a senior business analyst at Capital One from July 2011 to March 2014.

Simplebet, which was founded by Joey Levy, is the main supplier for Levy’s Betr B2C brand, which recently secured a $15m funding raise.
The capital injection now values the business, which Levy co-founded with Jake Paul, at $375m.
