The gaming giant said the $19.4m increase in online revenues included $8.6m of contributions from Bally, plus a $3.2m increase in real-money gaming revenues during the three month period.
Interactive adjusted EBITDA increased 133% year-on-year to $13.3m after a 305% increase in operating income to $7.3m.
Q2 growth was driven primarily driven by its social gaming division, which now includes Israeli developer Dragonplay, with average monthly active users (MAUs) up 40% YoY to 7.3 million.
Daily active users (DAUs) were up 57% to 2.2 million, which Scientific Games said was due to the launch of Quick Hit Slots and Hot Shot Casino, plus growth in its Jackpot Party and Goldfish Casino apps.
But while MAUs and DAUs increased during the period average revenue per daily active user (ARPDAU) dipped slightly (-4.5%) to $0.21.
âThe recent launch of Quick Hit slots and our new Hot Shot casino a significant expansion of our social gaming business,â Gavin Isaacs, Scientific Games CEO, said.
âThe Quick Hit slot app was the first to showcase Bally branded games in the social game space and Hot Shot casino is our first integrated social game app that encompasses games across our entire company.
âWhile still early both apps are providing promising results,â he added.
The latest numbers took Scientific Games interactive revenues to $98.5m for the first half of the year, with an EBITDA of $23.2m and operating income of $11.2m.
Scientific Games recorded total H1 revenues of $1.4bn and EBITDA of $518m, leading to a net loss of $188.6m.
