Rush Street Gaming adds experience with double C-level appointments
Casino operator promotes from within for new COO and CFO roles following earlier CEO change

Rush Street Gaming has promoted veteran employees Marc Arndt and Bill Keena to the chief financial officer and chief operating officer roles, respectively.
Delivering an organizational update, the casino operator confirmed the twin appointments, with Ardnt replacing Tim Drehkoff, who was himself promoted to the CEO role in March following the departure of Greg Carlin.
A veteran of Rush Street, Arndt joined the firm in 2011 and was instrumental in launching the Rivers Casino in Des Plaines, overseeing the hiring of key team members, conducting contract negotiations and project management.
In his current role, Arndt oversees and manages the finance functions across all gaming operations including Rush Street’s land-based casinos and their affiliated entities.
Prior to joining Rush Street, Arndt was the CFO of Bethesda Home, a regional acute care nursing and rehabilitation center, and previously served as a director of Bridge Finance Group with a focus on structuring, closing, and managing senior secured debt, mezzanine debt, and preferred equity.
Speaking about his time at Rush Street, Arndt said: “I’m excited about Rush Street’s tremendous growth over the past decade and proud of the team’s many accomplishments.
“We have strong and thoughtful leadership across the entire enterprise. I’m looking forward to continued collaboration and even more great things ahead,” he added.
Keena, a 35-year casino veteran, most recently served as general manager of Rivers Casino Pittsburgh, successfully overseeing the business during the Covid-19 pandemic shutdown period. He also served with Arndt in the Rivers Casino in Des Plaines as its general manager in 2011.
Between his appointments as a local executive for Rivers Casino in various markets, Keena acted as an enterprise-wide casino industry consultant for Rush Street Gaming.
Beginning his industry career in 1988, Keena joined the industry with Harrah’s, where he was promoted to regional president, simultaneously overseeing four full-service casinos and resorts, two in Missouri and two in Iowa.
“Rush Street Gaming has been exemplary in developing a positive team member culture, strong community engagements, and superior guest experiences,” said Keena.
“I’m looking forward to working alongside our tremendously talented and dedicated teams to continue their great momentum,” he added.
The appointments of Keena and Arndt are subject to approvals from jurisdictional gaming boards.
