Resorts and Golden Nugget take first sports bets
Two new sportsbooks went live in AC yesterday after provider SBTech received its transactional waiver

Resorts Ac and Golden Nugget AC both took their first sports bets in New Jersey yesterday after supplier SBTech received its transactional waiver from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.
The first bet placed at Resorts was $100 on the White Sox to beat Detroit at -115 (a winner). At Golden Nugget the first two bets were on the Giants to win the Superbowl at 40/1.
Resorts and Golden Nugget both said they expect to have online and mobile sportsbooks live by the end of September.
Both casinos were also running temporary sportsbooks as full-scale facilities were being built out, with Golden Nugget working on a 90-screen, four-terminal space.

The two properties become the sixth and seventh sportsbooks to go live in New Jersey, with both powered by European provider SBTech.
The betting market was worth $3.8m in July, and led by the FanDuel sportsbook at the Meadowlands racetrack.
