PrizePicks to open new 33,000 sq ft Atlanta HQ
DFS operator plans to add 1,000 staff to headcount as it promises $25m economic benefit to the state of Georgia

PrizePicks is set to open a new 33,000 sq ft headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, with the firm planning to grow its headcount by 1,000 in the next seven years.
PrizePicks added that the 1,000 new jobs would result in an economic boon to the Peach State to the tune of $25m.
The DFS operator confirmed its plans to move into the Star Metals Building in Midtown Atlanta, a mixed-use development with 267,000 sq ft of office space.
The Star Metals site has been developed by the Allen Morris Company, with architecture overseen by Oppenheim Architecture.
The development was completed in Q2 2021, and also features 40,000 sq ft of retail space.
The Allen Morris Company is also building a new luxury rental apartment community on the Star Metals site with more than 300 residences and 25,000 sq ft of ground floor retail space, due for completion in Q1 2025.
Further developments through to Q4 2026, including more apartments and a hotel, will take the value of the project up to $1bn.
PrizePicks is currently based in the north of the city at the Atlanta Tech Village.
Adam Wexler, PrizePicks CEO and co-founder, said: “Atlanta has always been our home, where we are redefining mobile sports entertainment.
“This move to Star Metals will help us create more world-class, high-skilled and high-wage jobs in our great city while we deepen our connections across the community,” he added.
Governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp, said he was looking forward to seeing the impact PrizePicks would have on the state’s economy and workforce in the coming years.
He added: “Georgia continues to be a driver of tech growth and innovation, attracting innovative companies with its unique mix of talent and infrastructure.
“Today’s announcement is a reminder of our strength in both welcoming new projects as well as creating an atmosphere where existing businesses can expand and thrive.”
