PrizePicks partners with NHL franchise in first Texas deal
DFS operator to have adverts shown during local Dallas Stars games in addition to offering fans VIP experiences

PrizePicks has announced a partnership with NHL franchise the Dallas Stars in what marks the operator’s first deal with an ice hockey team.
The deal also represents the DFS operator’s first partnership in the state of Texas, where it will offer special VIP experiences to fans.
On top of that, PrizePicks will have the rights to use Stars’ logos while the operator will be placed on digitally enhanced dasher boards along the ice.
PrizePicks will also be featured in local broadcasts of Stars’ games via commercials.
Adam Wexler, PrizePicks CEO and co-founder, said: “We are thrilled to further establish the PrizePicks brand alongside a great franchise like the Dallas Stars.
“Texas is one of our most highly engaged markets, and hockey is one of our fastest growing segments. This partnership will accelerate our ability to enhance the game day experience for fans.”
Dallas Stars president and CEO Brad Alberts said the franchise was keen to engage with its fans via the partnership.
He added: “Elevating the game day experience for our fans will always be a top priority for us. We’re excited about our partnership with PrizePicks, and we look forward to engaging with fans in this new and unique way.”
The deal is the latest for PrizePicks after the brand became the exclusive DFS sponsor for Stephen A. Smith’s podcast The Stephen A. Smith Show.
Elsewhere, the firm was forced to pay $15m to the New York State Gaming Commission for operating illegally in the state between 2019 and 2023.
The commission also confirmed it was pulling pick’em-style games from New York following regulatory changes last October.
