PokerStars launches Poker Dojo training app
Free tool available to UK and US players includes leader boards and levelling systems to drive engagement

PokerStars has released a free poker-training app that enables novice and experienced players to hone their skills.
Poker Dojo from the Isle of Man-based operator boasts three mini-poker games: Grid Poker, Strongest Hand and All-in or Fold.
Grid Poker involves selecting five cards on the grid to make a poker hand and score as many points as possible within the time limit.
With Strongest Hand, players pick the best hand out of three or rate your hand to score points, while All-in or Fold pits users against the clock whereby they fold until they feel their hand is strong enough to go all-in against an unseen hand.

The training tool is currently available to download for those in the UK and US with iOS and Android devices. A web version is in the pipeline.

Pennsylvania experienced a 187% rise in poker GGR from February to April, with the vertical accounting for 12% of the state’s overall gaming revenue, despite PokerStars being the only available product.
Yesterday, the parent company of The Stars Group (TSG), Flutter, announced in a Q2 trading update up to May 17 that poker and gaming had “benefited from strong customer engagement”.
