PointsBet to launch online casino in New Jersey
Australian operator secures multi-year agreement with Twin River Worldwide Holdings

PointsBet is set to enter the New Jersey gaming market after inking a multi-year agreement with Twin River Worldwide Holdings.
The Australian operator will launch its proprietary online casino product pending Twin River’s successful acquisition of the Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel & Casino.
This will be the second state the firm has said it will enter with an igaming product, along with Michigan which expects to launch the vertical early next year.
PointsBet is already active in the Garden State with its sportsbook partnership at Monmouth Park racetrack.
Eilers and Krejcik Gaming estimates the firm currently has a 6% market share in the state, trailing slightly behind FanDuel, DraftKings and William Hill.
Manjit Gombra Singh, PointsBet president of product and technology, said: “PointsBet is thrilled to partner with Twin River to offer its flagship online casino product in New Jersey as a complement to its critically acclaimed sportsbook.
“PointsBet continues to innovate and iterate upon its proprietary technology profile and this agreement is yet another signal that PointsBet remains focused on providing a modern gaming experience for modern times,” he added.
George Papanier, Twin River CEO, said: “PointsBet will be a great addition to our growing partnerships with innovative leaders around the world.
“We are extremely excited to have the opportunity to participate in the best-in-class mobile gaming environment that New Jersey has created and that we believe will bring new and innovative offerings to the market,” he concluded.
This week the firm has also secured a sponsorship deal with the NBA’s Indiana Pacers.
As part of the agreement, PointsBet branding will be displayed along the out-of-bounds space between the baseline and the team bench.
