PointsBet and NBC RSNs joining forces on first dual-market ‘BetCast’
Upcoming Bulls-76ers game to feature odds integrations powered by betting operator

PointsBet and NBC Sports are linking up to roll out the first ‘BetCast’ in multiple markets for a matchup between the Chicago Bulls and Philadelphia 76ers on March 7.
The initiative will see both NBC Sports Chicago and NBC Sports Philadelphia feature the special sports betting telecast on the overflow feed of each regional sports network (RSN) – NBC Sports Chicago Plus and NBC Sports Philadelphia Plus – as an alternative option for betting-minded viewers.
The BetCast itself will feature a variety of real-time odds powered by PointsBet, including live spreads, totals and moneylines. Futures odds and player props will also be integrated as part of the graphical overlays updating in real time and surrounding the game coverage on the screen.
Each telecast will have its own set of announcers to provide contextual betting-centric insights for viewers as the game progresses.
The 76ers telecast will be anchored by NBC Sports EDGE host Sara Perlman and NBC Sports 76ers analyst Jim Lynam, while NBC Sports Bulls analyst Kendall Gill will be joined by PointsBet head oddsmaker Jay Croucher on the Chicago side.
The experience will be interactive for viewers who have the NBC Sports Predictor app, which will deliver a special ‘Pick n’ Roll’ contest for the game with a guaranteed $50,000 jackpot.
Pregame coverage will include a special edition of ‘Bet the EDGE GameTime’ – a podcast hosted by media personality Matt Bernier and handicapper Drew Dinsick – which will air on both RSNs in the hour leading up to tipoff.
While the Bulls-76ers game represents the first dual-market BetCast, both RSNs have previously tested the format.
NBC Sports Chicago produced a sports betting telecast of the Bulls-Hornets game on April 22, 2021. NBC Sports Philadelphia began offering ‘BetCast’ presentations of select 76ers games in April 2019.
