PointsBet launches online casino in West Virginia
SG Digital-powered casino platform debuts in Mountain State as operator moves into third igaming state

PointsBet has launched its online casino product in the West Virginia market, the third US state in which the Australia-headquartered firm operates igaming in the US.
The launch follows successful debuts in Michigan in May 2021, and New Jersey, in which the firm launched online casino in July. Users will have access to 15 games operated via PointsBet’s partnership with supplier SG Digital.
PointsBet’s mobile and sports betting apps have been live in West Virginia since August 2021.
The sports betting operator gained online casino access to West Virginia through its relationship with the Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races.
“It is an exciting time for the online casino market, and we’re proud to be able to tap into this momentum and introduce our proprietary product in West Virginia,” said Manjit Gombra Singh, PointsBet’s president of product and technology.
“We’re quickly scaling our business and have now integrated Scientific Games’ platform to expand our premium content portfolio. We’re looking forward to expanding and refining our suite of products throughout the year to deliver more options for our users in PointsBet online casinos,” Singh added.
The West Virginia launch is PointsBet’s second major launch in the space of a week, following confirmation that the PointsBet sportsbook has launched in New York.
PointsBet’s sportsbook is now live in Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, and West Virginia.
