PointsBet and NBC Sports to collaborate on Sunday Night Football integrations
Online operator to present betting-centric content in concert with global ambassador and NBC host Drew Brees
NBC’s flagship studio show Football Night in America will begin to have more of a betting focus in 2021 thanks to its partnership with PointsBet.
The online sports betting operator, which entered into the partnership with NBC Sports in August 2020 and was recently named an approved sportsbook operator of the NFL, will be routinely featured on Football Night in America, as well as the new Peacock Sunday Night Football Final post-game show.
As part of the tie-in, viewers will be presented with a weekly odds segment leading up to the Sunday Night Football telecast.
The segment, which will highlight key betting markets from the day while previewing the upcoming game, will feature future Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees, who recently signed on as PointsBet’s global ambassador.
The newest member of NBC’s studio team, Brees will provide expert analysis during Football Night in America.
PointsBet’s head oddsmaker Jay Croucher and senior editor Teddy Greenstein, meanwhile, will be regular guests on the new Peacock post-game show to tie a bow on the day’s action through a betting lens.

“We know viewers who are sports bettors are more engaged with the game throughout the broadcast, and PointsBet offers more opportunities for players to stay involved,” Aitken added.
In addition to PointsBet’s regular presence throughout NBC’s primetime football programming, viewers will also get to take advantage of the return of the ‘Sunday Night 7’ NFL game on the NBC Sports Predictor app.
Powered by PointsBet, the free-to-play contest features seven questions about the upcoming game, with participants competing for a $100,000 jackpot.
PointsBet will also contribute to an array of content across NBC Sports’ digital platforms, headlined by Bet the Edge: Blitzing the Board, which airs every Friday and Sunday on Peacock’s NBC Sports channel.
