Director of corporate development Jonathan Doubilet to relocate from Europe to lead US operations

Playtech has established a commercial hub in New York’s Midtown as part of its US expansion plans, EGR has learned.
The office and showroom will be a mix of staff relocated from Europe and local talent, and will be led by Playtech director for corporate development Jonathan Doubilet.
Doubilet has been with Playtech for eight years, having spent the last two at the firm’s office in Vienna, Austria.
Speaking to EGR, Doubilet said: “New York is a commercial operations centre and not a technical operations centre by any means. It will allow us to become more tangible to the US audience.
“We thought that being within proximity to Penn Station and a number of international airports made us very accessible and anybody that wants to see our products in person can do so,” he said.
Doubilet said the supplier would be marketing its omni-channel sports technology and igaming product suite across the US.
“We are heavily focused on mobile and are one of the only suppliers that supply not only igaming technology but also sports betting, live dealer and player account management systems,” Doubilet said.
The firm is in the final stages of having its New Jersey license approved and is hoping to announce its first operating partner in the US imminently.
