
Pennsylvania betting revenues down 24% in April
Keystone state records overall handle of $36.7m across its eight venues


Pennsylvania betting revenues reached $4.2m in April, down 24% on the previous month.
The eight venues offering on-premise betting recorded overall handle of $36.7m, the state’s gaming control board reported.
Parx Casino reported the highest monthly revenue of $907,298 with Rivers a close second making $871,753 in monthly earnings.
SugarHouse’s Rush Street Interactive-powered product secured revenues of $781,163 during the period, compared to $1.2m in March.
Valley Forge Race and Sportsbook was the only operator to report higher figures in April than March, with revenues increasing 65% to $195,856
The eight venues offering betting services paid $1.5m in taxes in April.
New Jersey reported a similar drop in revenues this week, as operators recover from March Madness.
