PENN Entertainment’s Hollywood Casino app lands in Michigan
Operator’s standalone online casino app launches in the Wolverine State following December debut in Pennsylvania

PENN Entertainment has launched its standalone Hollywood Casino app in Michigan, a month after launching in Pennsylvania.
Players will still be able to access the Hollywood Casino through the ESPN Bet app using their credentials, as well as via the new iOS or Android standalone app.
Hollywood Casino will also be available via the solo desktop site, allowing customers to access the platform independently of ESPN Bet.
PENN already operates the Hollywood Casino at Greektown in Detroit, and the online app will offer omnichannel integration which includes Hollywood Casino at Greektown-branded live dealer blackjack tables as well as digital versions of slot games at the property.
Hollywood Casino boasts more than 700 icasino games, including online slots, table games, and live dealer content, plus games from the in-house PENN Game Studios.
Following the Pennsylvania launch last month, and now Michigan, PENN reiterated its plans to launch Hollywood Casino in more jurisdictions in 2025, subject to regulatory approvals.
Online casino is currently legal in seven states: Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Connecticut, Delaware, and Rhode Island.
However, Rhode Island is subject to a monopoly from Bally’s, while Delaware’s offering is powered by Rush Street Interactive.
