Parx becomes fourth PA casino to launch sports betting
State’s largest casino secures PGCB approval to go live after two-day test-run

Parx has today officially opened its Kambi-powered on-property sportsbook, becoming the fourth casino in the state to launch sports betting.
Following a two-day testing phase, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) gave the partners the green light to open the sportsbook, which is fitted out with seven teller windows and 45 betting kiosks.
As part of the launch, Parx will be offering Betslip Builder – a mobile app which lets players fill out their bet slip when on the move and create a QR code to be scanned prior to reaching a cashier
The app is designed to streamline the bet placement process during busy periods, with the state not yet allowing online betting.
A Parx-branded online sportsbook will be launched when the PGCB allows.
“Parx Casino is thrilled to launch legalised sports betting on property this week, and to do so with such a high-quality product from Kambi is particularly exciting,” said Matthew Cullen, SVP of interactive gaming and sports at Parx Casino.

“Parx is expanding its portfolio of offerings to give patrons the absolute best of all types of legalised gaming, and sports wagering is just the latest stage in enhancing our customer offering.”
Max Meltzer, Kambi chief commercial officer, added: “Today’s unveiling marks Kambi’s fourth bricks and mortar sportsbook launch in less than three months and cements our position as the leading online and on-property sportsbook supplier in the burgeoning US market.”
