New York’s iconic sports franchises enter betting partnership with Caesars sportsbook
Caesars Sportsbook confirms official sports betting partners with the Knicks, Rangers, Madison Square Garden Arena, and MSG Networks
Caesars Sportsbook has joined forces with some of the most famous New York sporting institutions in a sports betting partnership.
The collaboration will bring together the sports betting arm of Caesars with the New York Knicks, New York Rangers, Madison Square Garden Arena, and MSG Networks.
The latter will work with Caesars Sportsbook to produce an innovative branded content series that will feature US actor JB Smoove who is a Knicks fan and a lover of sport in New York.
The multi-year marketing partnership links the New York teams, the indoor sporting arena, and MSG Entertainment Assets to the online sports betting product at Caesars.
The sportsbook operator will profit hugely from the association with its new betting partners. The benefits include digital media exposure with MSG Sport and MSG Entertainment. The Caesars Rewards Program will also now include hospitality events at Madison Square Garden.
Caesars will have access to entertainment space for its customers when the Knicks and Rangers play their home games at the iconic arena. There will be a complete refurbishment of the facility ahead of the 2022-23 Knicks and Rangers seasons. The space can be used for special events when the New York teams host games at MSG.
Ron Skotarczak, executive vice-president, marketing partnerships at MSG Entertainment, commented on the partnership: “We’re thrilled to welcome Caesars Sportsbook – a renowned brand in the sports betting industry.” The benefits for MSG include a better connection with the sportsbook’s clients and significant exposure across its activities.
JB Smoove’s involvement will center on content and Caesar’s betting odds. Four Courses With JB Smoove will also be brought back into the schedules. The show featured conversations between the entertainer and well-known athletes and other celebrities. The new-version will include Caesars-themed content.
The Emmy-nominated actor is relishing the opportunity to work with MSG and said: “I am thrilled to be reunited with my friends at MSG Networks. I can see it now: Caesar in the Mecca! A match made in heaven!”
For Caesars, the benefits are more about the followers of New York sports. Co-president of Caesars Digital Eric Hession commented: “Caesars Sportsbook is ready for expansion into New York. Caesars now operates in 20 states and jurisdictions, across desktop, mobile, and retail.
