New Jersey equals revenue record despite short month
Online revenues match $22m record set in January, although poker continues to tank

New Jersey equalled its online revenue record in February at $22m, despite the month only having 28 days, according to new figures from the Division of Gaming Enforcement.
Online casino revenues hit $20.2m, up 22% year-on-year, while poker fell 18% to $1.8m.
Golden Nugget continued to extend its lead atop the market, surging to $7.8m, up $500k from last month, itself a new record. No other operator has yet surpassed the $5m revenue barrier.
Resorts digital was the other major winner on the month, with revenues up 24% year-on-year to $3.8m, good for third place in the market, marginally behind Borgata also at $3.8m.
Tropicana came in fourth in the market a $3.2m, while Caesars slid 8% year-on-year to $3.2m.
Eilers & Krejcik noted that February came in “well above projections”, adding: “With that said, we are maintaining our annual projections at this point.
“There’s some chance that February benefited from favorable hold conditions, and the rough weather in the region – while not the only factor – is definitely adding a bit of weight to the scale.”
