US JV also rebrands to Roar Digital as former Coral exec Prevost joins CEO Adam Greenblatt

Former Coral Interactive executive Matt Prevost has been appointed CMO of the US joint venture (JV) between GVC and MGM, which is now to be known as Roar Digital.
Prevost joins Roar having previously served as CMO of Coral Interactive in Gibraltar between 2011 and 2015 and is the first senior appointment made by newly-appointed CEO Adam Greenblatt.
As part of the management team at Coral Interactive, Prevost developed the marketing framework of Coral.co.uk before departing for a job in the private equity sector.
Prior to joining Roar, Prevost also served as an operating executive at Cerberus Capital Management and was appointed chief digital officer of US beauty cosmetics giant NewAvon in 2017.

Roar Digital CMO Matt Prevost
Roar Digital CEO Adam Greenblatt said: “Matt brings a unique combination of experience and expertise in Europe’s most competitive betting environment with a deep understanding of the US consumer and media landscape.
“Matt further strengthens Roar’s foundations and will help us compete for leadership over time as the US market evolves.”
Prevost, who will be based at Roar’s new head office in New Jersey, added: “I am thrilled to join the team at Roar at this historic time for the US sports betting and gaming sector.
“The combination of brands, technology, and market access of the two parent companies will provide a significant opportunity to build a world class sports-betting operation in the US.”
According to GVC, Roar Digital has been selected as the new name for the JV to “give it a distinct identity as it builds market share in the regulating US market” and to combine with MGM’s lion logo.
