MaximBet targets Indiana and Iowa expansion
Carousel Group subsidiary hails “prime opportunity” of building on Colorado launch

MaximBet has revealed it will look to expand its sportsbook operations into Iowa and Indiana.
To support this launch, MaximBet LIVE, a division of MaximBet specializing in parties and events, will hold a series of kickoff parties in each state featuring entertainers, celebrities, prizes, and rewards for existing and new customers.
Along with Indiana and Iowa, MaximBet is expecting to go live in a handful of additional states (and Canada) in 2022.
The sports betting operator has previously concluded market access deals in Pennsylvania and Ohio and is currently working to obtain licenses in each of those states.
MaximBet launched in Colorado in 2021 and has enjoyed a successful debut period in the Centennial State, something which it is keen to replicate in additional markets.
To augment its Colorado launch, MaximBet offered name, image, and likeness (NIL) contracts to every female collegiate athlete in Colorado, later launching its first free-to-play app in December 2021.
“Indiana and Iowa represent a prime opportunity for MaximBet to bring its world-class sportsbook and unparalleled real-life experiences to two of the most passionate sports markets in the country,” MaximBet CEO Daniel Graetzer said.
“Sports betting has been a boon for both states since 2019, but sports fans have never experienced anything like the MaximBet LIVE parties, athlete and celebrity meet-and-greets, and in-person entertainment that MaximBet will bring to these two passionate sports states.
“We can’t wait to show our new users in Indiana and Iowa what we have in store,” Graetzer added.
In December, MaximBet unveiled its first free-to-play product, MaximBet Play.
