
Marshawn Lynch links up with BetMGM as brand ambassador
Super Bowl champion to be featured in variety of marketing and promotional content

Marshawn Lynch is officially entering the sports betting space, as the Super Bowl champion has signed on with BetMGM as a brand ambassador.
Lynch, a five-time Pro Bowler and member of the Seahawks’ 2013 Super Bowl-winning team, will be featured in a variety of BetMGM’s upcoming marketing and promotional content.
He joins a growing list of celebrities and sports legends affiliated with the online betting operator, including Jamie Foxx, Barry Sanders, and Wayne Gretzky.
“Being part of the BetMGM family is dope and an honor. They’re the leaders in online gaming so I’m excited to learn about the industry from the best and find ways where I can have an impact,” said Lynch.
“Plus, with ambassadors like Barry, Gretzky and Jalen [Rose], I think da’ kid is in good company, ya know what I mean?”
As part of the partnership, Lynch will contribute to BetMGM’s array of digital and social media content, in addition to making media appearances and engaging with BetMGM players through various activations.
Bettors can also likely expect some special ‘Beast Mode’-centered promotions and odds boosters come football season.
“Lynch is both an incredible athlete and larger-than-life personality,” said BetMGM chief revenue officer Matt Prevost. “The impact he has made on the game of football, coupled with his status as an electric superstar, makes him a tremendous addition to the BetMGM team.”
BetMGM, which is currently available in 10 states and the District of Columbia, has not been afraid to spend money in order to build brand awareness and acquire customers.
The online operator has partnerships with a host of professional teams, media companies, and most of the major sports leagues, in addition to its roster of brand ambassadors.
