Kambi scores Ohio partnership with JACK Entertainment
Partnership includes two retail sportsbooks and an online product should Ohio pass one of its two proposed betting laws

Sports betting supplier Kambi has partnered with Ohio-based casino and racetrack operator JACK Entertainment to run its retail and mobile sportsbooks, once the state regulates.
According to a release sent out today, the deal covers bricks-and-mortar sportsbooks at the JACK Cleveland Casino in downtown Cleveland and the JACK Thistledown Racino in North Randall, Ohio as well a subsequent online product if legalized.
The partnership has the capacity to extend into further states if JACK chooses to expand its offering.
JACK said it will make use of Kambi’s flexible back-end technology but will build its own front-end.
Kambi CEO Kristian Nylen said: “JACK Entertainment is clearly a major player in the Ohio market, and has been a primary target for us in the US as we build on our strategy to create unique and engaging sports betting experiences with visionary operators.
“The management team at JACK Entertainment were quick to recognize the comprehensive omni-channel excellence offered by the Kambi sportsbook, and how effectively this will complement their ongoing delivery of top-quality gaming and entertainment,” Nylen said.
VP of sports and digital gaming at JACK Adam Suliman said: “JACK Entertainment is thrilled to announce a long-term strategic partnership with Kambi to support sports wagering in Ohio, should enabling legislation come to fruition.
“We feel strongly that Kambi’s best in class platform, combined with JACK Entertainment’s properties and brand, will allow us to deliver the very best sports betting products and experiences to our patrons in Ohio,” he added.
Ohio is considering two possible betting bills, with lawmakers having come to a standstill over whether the state’s lottery commission or casino control commission should regulate betting.
