Former partypoker CEO Ryan appointed to operator’s board of directors alongside CFO Akshay Kumar and lawyer Paul Pathak

Bragg Gaming Group today announced the appointment of egaming industry veteran and Pala Interactive CEO Jim Ryan to its board of directors.
Ryan has a wealth of experience in the online gambling industry and was the CEO of PartyGaming until 2011, before becoming co-CEO of bwin.party when the two operators merged.
Ryan, who has held non-executive director positions at both Gaming Realms and Jackpotjoy, said: “I’m pleased to join Bragg in this exciting growth phase.
“With an experienced gaming industry leader like Dominic Mansour at the helm of a new management team, and the unlimited potential of the group’s three main properties, I’m confident that Bragg will continue its upward trajectory,” he added.
Bragg Gaming Group consists of solutions provider Oryx Gaming, sports-focused media group GiveMeSport and online sports betting and casino brand GiveMeBet.
Ryan will be joined on the Bragg board of directors by current Bragg Gaming CFO Akshay Kumar, as well as investment industry lawyer Paul Pathak.
Kumar has previously held financial leadership roles at egaming firms including NetPlay, Betsson and Sporting Index, while Pathak is a partner at Chitiz Pathak LLP and serves on the board at JPJ Group.
Bragg CEO Mansour said: “We’re delighted that Jim, Paul and Akshay have agreed to join the board.
“We’re very focused on our objective of developing into a global gaming force, and we need a board with the skills to support that growth.
“Jim and Akshay both bring extensive gaming industry experience to the team, and Paul’s expertise in M&A will be instrumental to our growth plan,” he added.
