Jackpocket debuts online casino platform in New Jersey
Lottery courier heads to the Garden State with igaming offering three years after securing market access via Caesars Entertainment

Lottery courier app Jackpocket has launched its online casino offering in New Jersey in a landmark first for the company founded in 2013.
The firm is the first lottery courier in the US to enter the online casino vertical and will be able to offer its Jackpocket Casino product via a partnership with Caesars Entertainment.
Jackpocket and Caesars first penned a market-access deal back in December 2021 after the startup had secured $120m in a Series D funding round.
Jackpocket Casino will feature Jackpocket-brand games such as blackjack, roulette, and slots, as well as “hundreds of online casino games,” according to the firm.
Users in the Garden State will be able to access Jackpocket Casino on iOS and Android mobile and tablet devices as well as desktop.
The offering will be going up against nearly 30 igaming brands in New Jersey, a market that generated a new high of $1.9bn in online casino and poker revenue during 2023.
Jackpocket offers its lottery courier platform in 16 states, plus Washington DC and Puerto Rico, and has received financial backing from celebrities including comedian Kevin Hart and Dallas Mavericks majority owner Mark Cuban.
Peter Sullivan, Jackpocket CEO and founder, said: “This launch immediately expands Jackpocket’s entertainment offerings in New Jersey and will do the same for fans in other markets in the future.
“As the igaming space continues to grow, we’re excited to provide our engaged lottery user base with an easy and fun way to get involved in games we know they already love,” he added.
In November, Sullivan and a host of other US lottery execs spoke to EGR to lift the lid on the growing world of courier services.
