Heidi Reinhart replaces Dave Forestell as chair after the latter stepped up to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario last week

IGaming Ontario has appointed Heidi Reinhart as its new chair following the departure of Dave Forestell.
Reinhart was named interim chair at the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) following the departure of Lalit Aggarwal on July 18.
Forestell was then named AGCO chair on July 21 and subsequently stepped down from his position at iGaming Ontario.
Forestell was iGaming Ontario’s first-ever chair having joined the body in July 2021.
Reinhart had served on the board of directors at the AGCO since October 2020 and was vice-chair at AGCO before her departure.
IGaming Ontario is a subsidiary of the AGCO and is responsible for managing the vertical when it is provided by private operators.
Reinhart is a member of the Ontario Securities Commission’s Securities Advisory Committee and the Toronto Stock Exchange Listing Advisory Committee. She has also been a partner at the law firm Norton Rose Fulbright Canada since September 2006.
Earlier this month, iGaming Ontario reported that total wagers across all provincial legal verticals totalled C$14bn during the first three months of the year.
