Hard Rock Digital branches out into social gaming
Seminole Tribe brand acquires WGames to add free-to-play content to offering following Florida OSB return

Hard Rock Digital (HRD) has acquired WGames and launched a new free-to-play online and mobile games division.
Hard Rock Games will see the operator dive into the world of social gaming, with titles brought over from WGames’ including Jackpot Planet and Neverland Casino.
WGames founder and CEO Daniel Kajouie will serve as the MD of the new arm. Kajouie founded the Ontario-headquartered business in 2017.
Hard Rock Games will be integrated into Hard Rock’s loyalty program, Unity, as part of the launch.
Rafi Ashkenazi, HRD executive managing director, said: “With the addition of WGames’ world class games, technology, and operations, we have set the stage to accelerate growth for our social gaming business.
“Hard Rock Games’ enhanced capabilities will allow us to better engage our worldwide player communities with exceptional digital experiences and entertain our players like no one else can,” he added.
Kajouie said: “It’s truly an honor to be part of the incredible Hard Rock organization, a global entertainment and hospitality leader, and we look forward to developing immersive gaming experiences for our millions of customers worldwide.”
The launch of Hard Rock Games comes after the operator went live online and in retail in Florida amid a flurry of legal challenges.
