Hard Rock appoints new online gaming chief

Kresimir Spajic will oversee casino operator’s online strategy as it looks to become a “global leader” in the sector 

Hard Rock International has named industry veteran Kresimir Spajic as its new senior vice president of online gaming as the casino operator looks to grow its presence in the sector. [private]

Spajic will be responsible for leading the vision, strategy and operational execution behind the brand’s investment across various egaming platforms.

Hard Rock said he would also be instrumental in securing partnership and future opportunities to position the brand as a “global leader” in international and online gaming.

Hard Rock’s EVP of hotel and casino operations Jon Lucas said Spajic has “numerous achievements” and “outstanding results” in his past roles and brought a “wealth of knowledge” to the brand.

“Kresimir’s abundant domestic and international experience in the online gaming industry makes him an ideal fit for this position,” he added.

Prior to joining Hard Rock, Spajic was the principal consultant for online gaming at Rush Street Gaming, and led the Borgata’s internet gambling launch in New Jersey.
