Golden Nugget wins fourth consecutive EGR NA operator of the year award
Virtual ceremony honoured 23 online gambling companies with five new categories added this year
Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG) was crowned operator of the year at the EGR North America Virtual Awards 2020 for the fourth year in a row.
GNOG also took home the coveted mobile operator award as judges honored the operator on its “impressive casino user experience and interface”.
Scientific Games mopped up the most awards, winning casino content supplier, casino platform provider, sports betting supplier and sportsbook platform provider.
Judges said Scientific Games had quickly entered and dominated the sports scene this year, as it had in previous years with its casino products.
PointsBet picked up gongs for sports betting operator, socially responsible operator and rising star after experiencing significant growth in the US this year.
The virtual ceremony awarded 23 accolades across a host of categories, including five new ones: business advisory partner, customer services operator, IT and datacenter partner, lottery operator and socially responsible operator.
The awards followed the annual EGR East Coast Briefing where panellists discussed prominent challenges and advancements to the industry over the past year, as well as taking a look at prospective new states that may open up to betting in 2021.
