GeoComply rolls out new multi-state self-exclusion tool in Pennsylvania
New responsible gambling arm aims to leverage technology and aid operators in building out their own RG operations
GeoComply’s responsible gambling arm Conscious Gaming has launched its new self-exclusion tool in partnership with the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) in the Keystone State.
The system is designed for regulators and operators to securely identify self-excluded patrons who chose to participate in the program despite which state they self-excluded in.
PlayPause also empowers operators to strengthen their responsible gambling programmes and collect more data and behaviors from players.
Elizabeth Lanza, director of the office of compulsive and problem gambling of the PGCB said: “By integrating with this solution, the industry and regulators can increase wellbeing efforts and advance the effectiveness of self-exclusion.”
Anna Sainsbury, Conscious Gaming trustee and GeoComply Chairman, said: “We are thrilled to see our vision for a national self-exclusion tool come to life with Pennsylvania’s PlayPause launch.
“We are looking forward to further collaboration with industry stakeholders to expand coverage and impact for this solution,” she added.
GeoComply’s Conscious Gaming organization is working to leverage technology and player insights to empower corporate social responsibility within operators and regulators across the industry.
