The firm said Solus will provide DFS operators with geolocation and anti-fraud tools designed specifically for the ârapidly evolving sectorâ.
GeoComply already supplies the majority of licensed real-money gaming operators in Nevada, New Jersey and Delaware with its technology.
âWe have designed Solus to fit the specific characteristics of the daily fantasy sports market, where ease of UX and speed of transaction is key, while ensuring that the increased need for geolocation services within the DFS industry are met,â GeoComply CEO Anna Sainsbury (pictured) said.
The supplier confirmed it had already signed up B2B daily fantasy operator DraftDay Gaming Group, which CEO Rich Roberts said showed its commitment to being the âsafest and most secureâ operator in the market.
âBy teaming up with GeoComply we are providing our players with the highest level of consumer confidence with a unique user-friendly, B2B platform required to meet the demands of a rapidly changing environment,â he added.
The launch comes less than a week after the Nevada regulator ruled that daily fantasy met the definition of gambling under state law and required operators to apply for a sports betting license.
Other states have since launched investigations into the industry, with a state-by-state regulatory model similar to real-money gaming now likely.
