GAN launches social casino with New Yorkâs Oneida Indian Nation
Simulated Gaming-powered site and app to go live in early 2017
GAN has agreed a deal to launch a version of its Simulated Gaming social casino on behalf of New Yorkâs Oneida Indian Nation.
The new desktop and app platforms, expected to be ready in early 2017, will be linked with Oneidaâs Turning Stone Resort Casino in central New York State.
âWe are truly privileged to bring online the Oneida Indian Nationâs Turning Stone Resort Casino, one of the longest-standing Native American casinos in the North Eastern United States,â Dermot Smurfit, CEO of GAN said.
âWe expect to greatly strengthen Turning Stoneâs patron relationships in an increasingly competitive regional market.
âPlacing Turning Stoneâs highly-regarded loyalty program at the heart of the consumer proposition will likely result in high levels of online engagement from an audience of casino patrons who are already highly promiscuous online with competing social casinos,â Smurfit added.
The Simulated Gaming platform will be integrated into Oneidaâs on-property loyalty program and Konami Gamingâs SYNKROS casino management system, per Oneidaâs request.
The deal, which was first announced in June without disclosing the identity of the client, is GANâs second in New York and its fourth major Native America US client to date.
