SCCG Management has named former Caesars Entertainment and Amazon head Peter Kula as the group’s new VP of global strategy.
Following hot on the heels of SCCG’s addition of former Betfred COO Mark Stebbings to its global advisory board, Kula joins the firm after an 18-month stint with Amazon as a business development manager.
He originally joined Caesars in December 2014 as an internal auditor before stepping up to become a senior auditor in June 2016.
Then, in August 2018, Kula was named strategic development manager for Caesars’ sports and racing division.
Following Caesars’ £2.9bn acquisition of William Hill announced in 2020, Kula shifted to become a business development manager for the US arm of the business.
In his role as VP of global strategy at SCCG management, Kula will be responsible for developing strategies across sales, marketing, client success, product market analysis, and business development.
Stephen Crystal, SCCG Management CEO, said: “It is with great pleasure that we welcome Peter Kula to our executive team.
“His distinguished career in business development and strategic partnerships, particularly with industry leaders like Caesars and Amazon, aligns seamlessly with our strategic objectives at SCCG.
“We are optimistic that Peter’s expertise will be a key factor in propelling our organization towards new heights of success.”
Kula added: “Joining SCCG allows me to highlight our group’s expertise and craft a story of growth, innovation, and shared success for our partners.”
