FanDuel partners with Mohegan Sun casino for co-branded contests

DFS operator says it is “constantly looking to form similar partnerships across the country”

The Mohegan Sun has signed a partnership with FanDuel that will see the Connecticut-based casino give its customers a unique portal to the DFs platform and the chance to win real life prizes through playing.

The deal allows Mohegan Sun customers to users to sign-up to FanDuel directly through mohegansun.com/fantasysports, while guests will get the opportunity to win fantasy sports experiences every week.

As part of the partnership, FanDuel and Mohegan Sun will also host contests throughout the year for various sports.

By entering these contests, fans will have the opportunity to win prizes like overnight stays in Mohegan Sun’s Sky Tower, tickets to a Mohegan Sun Arena concert or sporting event, free dinner at a world-class restaurant and more.

FanDuel said in a statement: “Smart business like Mohegan are recognizing the extraordinary value fantasy sports can bring – the opportunity to reach a whole new market.

“We are constantly looking to form similar partnerships across the country, where we can help bring our product to new players and offer more opportunities to our users.”

It is the first such partnership between one of the big operators and a land-based casino, although several tribal properties have launched DFS games of their own on white label platforms in an effort to increase engagement with their customers.
