
FanDuel: Nearly 50% of customers used new RG tool during NFL season
Flutter brand talks up the impact of its My Spend tool ahead of the Super Bowl, as its latest responsible gambling product, Deposit Alerts, are announced

FanDuel has revealed that nearly half of its customers engaged with its My Spend responsible gambling (RG) dashboard during the 2024-25 NFL season.
The platform, which was released in December, saw approximately 3.5 million FanDuel users review their playing habits.
The Flutter-owned operator claimed these figures demonstrate that “customers are engaging with RG tools that provide personalized insights that help them to manage their time and spending on the platform.”
My Spend enables users to see personal statistics including the amount deposited and net winnings over the last seven days, four weeks, or three months.
The product also allows players to make use of the other responsible gambling tools offered by FanDuel, such as deposit and wagering limits.
The My Spend dashboard is available across FanDuel’s sportsbook, casino, racing, fantasy, and faceoff verticals.
To raise awareness of the launch of My Spend, FanDuel released a bespoke advertising campaign across broadcast television, digital, and paid social during the NFL playoffs.
The operator said three out of four people who had seen the campaign agreed My Spend looked like a helpful tool for those looking to monitor their wagering habits.
As a result of My Spend’s success, FanDuel has introduced its latest RG tool, Deposit Alerts, which will give users the ability to create daily, weekly, and monthly target budgets.
All users who participate with the Deposit Alerts product will be notified once they have reached their respective target budget.
Jill Watkins, senior commercial director of FanDuel’s responsible gambling arm, said: “We want our customers to know what they are spending and to ensure they are within their comfort zone.
“Since the launch of My Spend, we’ve seen a meaningful rise in engagement with tools that give our customers the ability to create a personalized plan to manage their play.
“We’re encouraged by the progress and remain steadfast in our commitment to making responsible play a natural part of the FanDuel experience for all customers.”
FanDuel also issued an update on its plans to bolster its responsible gambling technology over the course of 2025 in a bid to identify at-risk behavior as soon as possible.
