The news comes just days after FanDuel completed a major $275m funding round and announced it would use the raised cash to accelerate its product development pipeline.
FanDuel and Kotikan have been working together since 2013 with the firm tasked with designing and developing its mobile application, which recently launched on Android.
Kotikanâs employees have been offered roles at FanDuel.
âThe closer we worked together, the more we wanted to contribute to FanDuelâs success,â Gav Dutch, Kotikan founder, said in a blog post on his firmâs website.
âEventually we realised the best way to do this was to devote the entire Kotikan team to crafting FanDuel products,â he added.
The news comes off the back of FanDuel hiring more than 40 former Zynga developers at its new Orlando-based development studio.
FanDuel is looking to scale up its mobile product offering, as it prepares for the upcoming NFL season where it will go head to head with DraftKings and new market entrant Yahoo.
