Fanatics Sportsbook goes live in New York State
Fanatics replaces PointsBet US in New York which becomes the 15th state where FBG offer sports wagering opportunities

Fanatics Betting and Gaming (FBG) has made further progress in its rapid expansion across the US with its launch of the Fanatics Sportsbook in New York on Thursday, February 29.
The Empire State becomes the 15th state where FBG is in operation, following launches in two separate jurisdictions in the past seven days.
Indiana went live with the sportsbook on Tuesday, February 27, and last week, Fanatics rolled out both its sportsbook and online casino products in Michigan.
Michigan marks the third state to host the brand’s casino platform, after Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
FBG is a subsidiary of Fanatics Holdings Inc and in August 2023 completed the purchase of the US arm of Australian operator PointsBet, since then it has gradually been phasing out the brand in North America.
Fanatics will now take the place of PointsBet in New York and all existing customers of PointBet will have all their information, including username, password, account balance, reward points, and responsible gaming settings, automatically transferred to the Fanatics platform.
FBG is also active in Colorado, Connecticut, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Last December, in Ohio, FBG, together with FanDuel, rallied against the Ohio Casino Control Commission’s (OCCC) proposals to clamp down on connections between sportsbooks’ promotional offers and non-gambling transactions following a promotional campaign that tied in with Fanatics’ sports merchandise retail arm.
