Fanatics Betting and Gaming bags golf star Justin Thomas as brand ambassador
Challenger operator secures services of world number 31 following product updates to its golf betting offering

Fanatics Betting and Gaming (FGB) has secured former world number one golfer Justin Thomas as an official betting partner.
Thomas, who is currently ranked 31st in the world, will highlight new FBG product launches and deliver social media content promoting the brand as part of the agreement.
The 31-year-old will also engage with the Fanatics customer base throughout the year via a series of activations.
The deal comes ahead of the PGA Championship, with Thomas set to head to his home state of Kentucky with hopes of securing the title he won back in 2017.
Speaking on his linkup with the operator, Thomas said: “I am excited to be the first official partner of the Fanatics Sportsbook.
“Whether it’s football, basketball, or golf, I’m a big sports fan. So, I’m looking forward to getting involved in the world of Fanatics and engaging with their customers.”
Ari Borod, FBG chief business officer, added: “Justin Thomas is one of the biggest names in golf and an amazing ambassador for the game.
“With him coming home to Kentucky to try to win his third PGA Championship, the Fanatics family couldn’t be more excited to partner with him.”
The addition of Thomas as a brand ambassador comes after FBG released a series of new products centered on the firm’s golf betting proposition.
These features include an “enhanced live event center” including shot-by-shot data, leaderboard tracking, and course maps in the FBG app.
FBG users will also be able to stream select Par 3 holes in the app in the future.
Management have also rolled out a special ‘FanCash for Birdies’ offer to customers ahead of this weekend’s PGA Championship.
The offer will see customers earn FanCash for every birdie the golfer they bet on to win records in round one.
