Exclusive: Jason Scott named VP of trading for Roar Digital
Former Ladbrokes Australia CEO to oversee trading across entire US operations

Former Ladbrokes Australia CEO Jason Scott has been named VP of trading for Roar Digital, the US joint venture between GVC and MGM.
Scott will be moving to New Jersey to take up the trading role in the “coming weeks,” GVC said, and will be responsible for directing Roar’s trading strategy and trading operations throughout the US.
Scott was trading director at Ladbrokes Australia for nearly eight years before serving two years as CEO from 2017–2019.
He left the business in September having established it as a market leader, according to GVC CEO Kenny Alexander.
Scott said in a statement he was excited about the opportunity to work with Roar in what he believes will quickly become the largest regulated wagering market in the world.
Roar’s BetMGM brand has arguably punched below its weight in New Jersey to date although recently went live with its odds integrated into the Yahoo Sports app which could boost customer acquisition.
Scott will also sit on the executive team, led by Roar Digital CEO Adam Greenblatt.
